So finding a line of inquiry has left my head swamped in questions! Reading through everyone's blogs has left me even with even more questions. Im still not sure what line of inquiry I would like to go down. So after reading "Stacey Wilson' post on Developing professional line of inquiry i decided to take a leaf out of Stacey's book and do a brainstorm with all the questions I had in my little head.
Hi Nikki - you certainly have been brainstorming and have come up with a wide rage of questions. perhaps now you should prioritise these questions and decide which ones are the most important to you. Which of these questions, if you uncovered any insights from them after conducting a professional inquiry would be most beneficial to your own professional development. Which of these questions most closely are linked with your career aspirations. Then, which are possible to do in your own work context practically? Another thing you should do is take some of these questions to your employer where you work or to a professional mentor and discuss them there? Do they throw any light on the issues you have raised? Is there anything in the literature (professional or academic) which helps you focus on the inquiry?

ReplyDeleteSo many questions! I'm so glad I'm not the only one feeling swamped by questions and ideas at the moment. I have just written a blog about how I need to get back to basics and how I need to condense my thoughts to just what "I need to know" thanks to the above comment from Rosemary, I think I can probably see a light at the end of the tunnel, I hope your on your way to finding yours now.
